Frequently Asked Questions

1
What happens during the consultation?
The consultation is a free 20 minute conversation where we can talk through what's bringing you into therapy, what you're hoping for, and whether working together feels like the right fit. It's also a space to ask questions, learn more about how I approach therapy, and discuss practical details like scheduling, rates, and how we can accommodate your needs.
2
Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on before reaching out?
Not at all. Some people come in with very specific goals or concerns, while others simply know that something just isn't sustainable anymore. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can begin wherever you are.
3
How do I know if this is the right fit for me?
Therapy works best when you feel understood, safe, and supported by the person you're working with. The consultation is designed to help you get a sense of whether this feels like a good fit for your needs, goals, and the kind of therapy experiences you're looking for. There's no pressure or obligation to move forward afterward.

Safety is not the absence of threat, it is the presence of connection.
